I've been collecting snails for the guineahen girls.
They laid their first egg this week.

Can't help you with snails, Cathy. I think the blue-tongued lizards must have eaten them all. However, slaters are quite another matter. Do slaters feature on guinea-fowl menues?

Guineas love anything that wriggles or moves! They need a higher protein diet than chooks, but are less biddable, so I can't let the out often, they fly to the top of the tallest trees and stay there for hours honking! They have just had babies, now 3 weeks old, must put in some pictures of the littlies!
